Draggin' Head 1/4 oz - 4 Pack

I fish around Middletown, Pa on the Susquehanna River. The conditions of the river are current and a mainly rocky bottom. The Draggin' Head weight is a great way to get down to the Smallmouth and not hang-up very often. 1/8 oz and 1/4 oz weights will slide over rocks nicely and the fine wire hooks really get the job done!!

I've used the 1/8 and 1/4 ounce Draggin' Heads with amazing success. I've rigged little tubes, other tubes, birds, battle stance craws and other craws on them and caught fish with each presentation. I very rarely have issues hanging up despite the snaggy waters I fish. The only time I lose any jigs it's either my own fault or the line wedges in between rocks. I will always have and love the Draggin Head.

This jig works on pressured bass! The lake I fish has clear water and gets a lot of pressure. I t-rig the Draggin' Head, with a brown bird and tossed it to big, well educated bass. The initial splash got no response, but once I started dragging/twitching the bird over rocks and grass it was all over. The tail-up presentation of the Draggin Head/Bird drew vicious strikes, the bass were crushing the lure. Now I keep one tied on at all times, it's become one of my go-to presentations!
