The Bird is the word
I love rigging the floating brown Birds on a draggin head. The waters I fish have at least some slow current and typically a lot. Dropping the Bird into an eddy or slow water makes the floating tail undulate in place and draws huge strikes. They have a constant, subtle action that immitates a minnow or bug holding on the bottom perfectly.
